Marketing Plan Tyler Yarnall

I. Executive Summary
Furever Dogs, LLC is a small business my wife and I started to provide custom made dog products such as cooling bandannas, harnesses, homemade treats, hand painted bowls and clothes.  We target mostly small dogs but do have some items that are made for all sizes of dogs.  We originally started this company to offset some of the costs of the chemotherapy treatments our dog is receiving at the NC State vet school.  We currently have a website, Fureverdogs.com, and sell every other weekend at the Raleigh Flea Market.
We have many challenges that we have encountered during the first few months of our new business.  Our main challenges are competition, lack of a permanent store front, initial investment money leading to inventory issues, time constraints, as well as being amateur business owners and website developers ourselves. Our biggest challenge is getting our name out to the general public.
In this marketing plan, I plan to make some suggestions to better brand our company, as well as ways to spread the word of our existence and how customers can buy from us.  The overall goal is to develop more company recognition, while increasing sales and establishing ourselves as the premier dog boutique that provides stylish, yet comfortable dog items for all size dogs.  This can be successful by updating our website more frequently, advertising, and using social media more frequently to establish a larger customer base.

  1. What a cool concept! Have you ever thought about adding a YouTube video of your dog's story to the website as opposed to the additional page of text? People love to see a story rather than have to read it!
