"Report from Social-Media's Front Lines"

This article gives us an overview of updated information of how social media is changing our life and the way we do business. The author is the president of The Brownstein Group. He and some other companies CEOs visit the most popular social media companies such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. He is interested in how social media can be leveraged to improve brand awareness and how B2B can be functioned as good as B2C in social media.

1.      Do you think the traditional way of ads, such as printing and TV ads, will be replaced by digital media soon?

2.      For B2B companies, what do you think, how can they use social media to increase brand awareness and sales effectively as B2C companies?

3.      The authors believe that the traditional resume is dead, what do you think about it? What do you think the effective way to find a job in today’s world? What is good about LinkedIn?

  1. Great find, Chi.

I don't think digital will replace traditional, but will have to be better integrated with it.

Vocus is trying to use social media for B2B--has anyone paid attention to them?

I agree about LinkedIn--everything you need is there, unless you share more in person.
